Why donate computers to the Urbantech Project?

Because of the rapid changes in technology and intense competition in the marketplace, many companies and institutions need to upgrade computer hardware and software at frequent intervals. Disposing of obsolete computers can be costly and bothersome, as well as placing a strain on urban landfills. Recycling used computers through the Urbantech Project decreases the environmental impact of computer upgrades, and offers companies a tax-deductible option for disposing of equipment. By donating computers to the Urbantech Project, your company or institution can contribute to creative solutions for bridging the technology gap in our community!
How to make a donation:

1. If your company or institution is interested in donating computer systems or parts , please fill out the form below. The Urbantech Project can also be contacted by phone at (215) 227-0600 . For large donations, please include an inventory list if possible.

2. For corporate donations or large quantities of equipment, UrbanTech will make the necessary transportation arrangements. Please indicate the best times for pick up.

3. A donation receipt and letter of thanks will be provided for all donations.

4. Computers are refurbished at UrbanTech's recycling site and then placed in schools and community agencies according to local program needs and/or the preference of the donor.
